The promo of the upcoming smartphone from Zenfone series has been leaked yesterday. The promo video reavealed almost everything about the Zenfone 9 including all the specifications and features. Here is what we can expect from the upcoming flagship from Asus.
Key specifications
The Zenfone 9 is going to feature the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This is the same processor that Asus used in the ROG Phone 6. The smartpohne is going to follow the same compact smartphone concept from Zenfone 8 and it comes with a 5.9-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Despite the current smartphone trend Asus choose to put dual camera setup at the back of the phone. The main sensor in this dual camera setup is a 50MP IMX766 sensor. This camera setup comes with a specialized gimbal stabilization system to record super steady videos without using a gimbal.
The smartphone will feature a 4300 mAh battery but surprisingly no fast charging has been mentioned in the promotion video. Some other features includes IP68 certification, stock Android 12 interface and it will come with a 3.5mm jack which is great!
