How to Hide Like or View Count on instagram Posts

Instagram has been resting this new feature on the platform for quite some time and it’s finally here. Instagram now lets you hide the like or View count on your Instagram posts. This feature seems pretty useless and unwanted because like or view count is the only way you can tell if your post is popular or not. But for any reason, you want to do that then feel free because Instagram has this feature and it lets you hide likes or view count on your posts.

There are three methods to do that so here I’m going to tell you all three methods. All three methods have different effects only our posts so follow methods carefully. Don’t worry too much, you can easily undo what you have done, just retrace the steps and undo what you have done.

Hide Like count on All Instagram Posts at Once

This method will hide the like or view count on all the posts on your Instagram account at once.

1. Open the Instagram app and go to your Account tab.
2. ap the hamburger menu on the top right corner of the page and select Settings.
   
   

   

   
3. On the Settings page, open Privacy and then open Posts.
4. Enable the Hide Like and View Counts toggle.

Hide Like on New Instagram Posts

This method will let you hide the like count while adding a new post on your Instagram page.

1. Open the Instagram app and swipe right on the home screen to add a new post.
2. Create a post and reach the page to add a caption to the post.
   
   

   

   
3. On that page, tap on Advanced Settings and then enable the Hide Like and View Counts on This Post toggle.
4. This will disable the like count on this particular post only.

Hide Like Counts on old Instagram Posts

If you want to hide like count on your old post(s) and don’t want to affect all the posts at once then follow these steps.

1. Open the Instagram app and go to the Account tab.
2. Now, open the post you want to hide the like count on.
   
   

   

   
3. Tap on the three-dot menu on that post and select Hide Like Count open from the menu.
