Is the Clubhouse app not working on your phone? If you are seeing an empty screen on the Clubhouse app and even the Rooms are not loading then you are not alone. A lot of people are facing this same issue recently. We have some pretty simple fixes for the issue so you can get a seamless experience on the app.
In Android, we clean the cache or reset the app as the first method to fix any issue with that app. Try this method with the Clubhouse app to see it fixes the issue, follow the steps below.
- Tap and hold on to the app icon and select the App info from the pop-up menu.
- On the App info page, select Storage and cache.
- Tap on the Clear cache option here and you can use the Clear storage option to reset the app. If you reset the app, you need to log in again on the app.
Update the Clubhouse app
If you use mobile data on your smartphone all the time then there may be chances that your Clubhouse app won’t get updated automatically. So make sure you update the app manually from Google Play Store. Open Google Play Store go to My apps & games the tap on the Update button on the top. This will scan apps for any available updates and start downloading the updated app.
If you checked your device for an internet connection issue but it’s working fine then you should try changing the DNS on your phone. This seems to work on a lot of issues created by network connections. Follow the steps below to switch the DNS on your phone and see it if works.
- Open Settings on your phone and navigate to Wifi & Network > Private DNS.
- Select Private DNS on the popup and enter dns.google as the hostname.
- You can also enter 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com and tap Save.
If you use a VPN on your smartphone to access the internet or unlock some service not available in your area then it may be messing up the connection to Clubhouse. Try disabling the VPN app and try reloading the Clubhouse app. This may fix the issue with the Clubhouse app but if it doesn’t then try the next method below.
Reinstalling may fix the problem
If none of the above-listed methods worked on your phone then try reinstalling the app on your phone. Uninstall the app from the settings or popup menu and then go to Google Play Store to download and install the app again. Of course, you need to login into the app again but this will surely fix the issue with your app.
