Almost every smartphone brand these days ship their devices with a load of bloatware. The users don’t even use most of these apps and these apps stay there hogging up the storage on the device. If you own a smartphone with themed Android OS then you must have found these apps unused on your phone and you cannot uninstall them because it’s a system app.
Today we are going to tell you how you can uninstall stock apps from Samsung smartphones without rooting them. This method worked perfectly on a Samsung smartphone running One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 but we assure you that it will work for all the devices running One UI 3.0 or later.
Prerequisites
- A Windows PC with ADB installed on it, here’s a little guide to do it.
- Download ADB for Windows.
- Extract the zip package and move the extracted Android folder to the Desktop.
- Right Click on the Start button and select Command Prompt(Admin.)
- Type cd desktop/android and press Enter. Then type ./ADB-Install-Mac.sh and press Enter.
- Your Samsung Smartphone should have USB debugging enabled, here is a quick guide.
- Go to Settings > About > Software information > tap on Build number 7 times.
- Go back to Settings > Developers options > enable USB Debugging.
Steps to Uninstall Stock Apps from Samsung Smartphones
- Connect your phone to the PC via USB cable.
- Open Command Prompt(Admin) and execute adb devices command. A popup will appear on your phone, confirm it.
- Now you can execute the following commands to uninstall a particular app.

- Once you are satisfied, disconnect your phone from the PC and reboot it once to take effect.

This is how you can uninstall stock system apps from Samsung smartphones without unlocking the bootloader or rooting the device. We still recommend you make sure that you don’t need that app in the future because there is no way to install a system app back on the device without a hard reset.
